Horse Whisperer Diary -- week #12
May 10, 2010
Luke and I did not make it to Norco. I had to move
him to a different program that is offered by the Mustang Heritage
Foundation called the trainer incentive program. I will now have another
90 days to prepare him for adoption.
He
is available for adoption at any time and I will continue to work with
him until someone shows up who will adopt him. He is not much different
than he was on week 7 when I last wrote in the diary.
Pat Miller, a friend of ours, came by one day to see Luke and she was
able to do more with him in a couple of hours that I could do. It was
humbling and a little confusing to see how much more she was able to get
his trust than I had ever had. I have gotten pretty discouraged after
spending almost 12 weeks and still not have him trust me. I suppose
there is probably a girl out there someplace who will adopt him and get
along great with him.
I still trust Jesus as my Savior and I am convinced that He gave me the
name of Luke 3:16. And I know that He is the baptizer who has baptized
me with the Holy Ghost and fire. I am just as sure that He has drawn you
here to read this. I pray that you will get your Bible and read both
Luke 3:16 and John 3:16 and enough scripture on both sides of both of
those verses, to come to a place of peace with God and that you will
know your purpose in life. If you don’t have a Bible go to
www.bible.com and you
can read right on line.
If I can be any help to you in any way, please let me know.
